In today’s world, the total devastation from the bombing is difficult to fathom. Eighty years since the power of the atomic bomb was unleashed, many stories remain untold and are perhaps forever lost in the rubble that was left behind. What started out as an otherwise normal day for many, ended in personal disasters of catastrophic proportions.
